The Forum will provide a platform for discussion on how the region’s industrial expertise, academic and research base, entrepreneurship and investment potential can be harnessed to develop new areas of economic specialisation. The debates will cover a new economic model for Upper Silesia, skills for the new economy, and the development of modern industry, AI, IT, data centres, energy, space technologies and solutions for the defence sector.
The discussion will draw on the PTWP Group report “Silesia of the Future. New Directions for Development”.
