Representatives of business, public administration, academia and financial institutions will discuss the transformation of the mining sector, new technologies, investment, financing, skills and global supply chains.
A key thematic track of the conference will be the Critical Metals and Copper Forum – a strategic debate on the raw materials that are crucial today to industrial security, the competitiveness of economies and the success of the energy transition.
The Forum will focus on:
- security of critical raw material supplies for Europe,
- the global copper market and new mining projects,
- the geopolitics of raw materials and supply chain resilience,
- smelting, metallurgy and processing,
- metals recycling and the circular economy,
- the European Union’s raw materials and industrial policy.
Particular attention will be devoted to copper – a metal essential to the energy sector, electromobility, infrastructure, digitalisation and new technologies. As one of the leading producers of copper and silver, Poland has an important role to play in Europe’s raw materials security system.
